![]() ![]() ![]() Storage device capacities are specified using the decimal-based definition of GB (1GB = 1000 MB), whereas Windows uses the binary-based definition (1GB = 1024 MB), so a 1GB flash drive actually wouldn't have a full GB of capacity according to Windows - which is likely why you see the 960 MB figure shown there. The only other note I see is that if Rescue Media Builder determines that the selected device doesn't contain a suitable partition, then it will search for unallocated space on that device in which to create a new 1GB partition. The Rescue Media Builder KB article here only says that the required partition size is 1.2x the size of the Rescue Media file set, but the partition is clearly large enough for a Rescue Media file set that size. ![]()
